BMPG B.V. processes personal data carefully, for defined purposes and in accordance with the GDPR.

BMPG B.V., trading as BuildCalcSoftware Solutions, BuildCalcSoft and BMPG B.V., is the controller for personal data processed through this website and in the context of its services. 2. Personal data we process

  • Contact details: name, company, role, email address and, if provided, phone number.
  • Message content: your description of the challenge and any attachments.
  • Correspondence: emails, meeting notes and agreements resulting from your request.
  • Contractual and administrative data: agreements, invoicing and payment details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, timestamp and requested pages in server logs.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your request and holding an intro call — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Delivering assignments, projects and support — performance of the contract.
  • Invoicing, administration and statutory retention — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Security, abuse prevention and website continuity — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics on website use — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Processors and third parties

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting, email, storage and administration, and conclude data processing agreements covering confidentiality, security, sub-processing and return or deletion of data. Other disclosure only occurs where legally required or with your explicit consent.

5. Transfers outside the EEA

We aim to process personal data within the EEA. Any transfer to a third country takes place only under an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary measures where needed.

6. Retention

  • Requests that do not lead to an assignment: up to 12 months after last contact.
  • Assignment and project files: 7 years after completion, in line with tax retention rules.
  • Financial records: 7 years under Dutch tax law.
  • Server logs: up to 12 months, for security and error analysis only.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (TLS), need-to-know access control, logging, backups and periodic review. Staff and engaged parties are bound by confidentiality.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. We respond within one month and may request additional identification. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

9. Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary cookies and, subject to consent, analytical cookies. See our cookie policy for details and how to withdraw consent.

10. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. In AI projects we deliver, human review of relevant outcomes is a design principle.

We may amend this statement when our services, systems or legislation require it. The current version is always available on this page with its last-updated date.
